March was the month of my birthday and what is a girl suppose to do when she gets some birthday money? Go shopping, right! So I thought I would show you what I got this last month instead of doing a monthly favourite roundup as not much has changed there.

First up is the Clarins HydraQuench Cream a daily moisturizer that as the name suggests, promises to keep your skin hydated throughout the day. I wasn't meant to buy this new moisturizer as I still have one on the go but lately I can not go to town without stopping by on a Clarins counter.

And that brings me on to my next buy the Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster. The lady at the counter told me casually that clarins has won many awards lately for their tanning products and me having heard only praises for this face tanner had to give in and try it out for myself. You are meant to put a little drop of this into your daily moisturizer and it will gradually give you a natural glow or two drops if you like your tan more intense.

Last one on the skincare agenda is the Ren Claryfying Toner for combination skin. Another toner with exfoliating properties. This is the kind of toners that I like at the moment as they seem to keep my skin in check!

On to make up next and as you can see I have been developing a love for soft pink lipsticks, instead of buying just one I had to have three and all of them are from Revlon. The first two are the Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in110 Croquette and 210 Unapologetic (matte). The matte version s quite intense and I can see myself reaching for it on a night out where as the glossy balm is more of an everyday lippy!
The third one of the bunch is Revlons Colourstay Ultimate Suede lipstick in the colour 020 Front Row. Now this lipstick I am still kind of on the fence about because when I bought it I absolutely loved the colour ( it was exactly what I had in mind colour wise) but this lipsticks looks for some reason not that great on. It tends to stick to any dry bits and starts looking a bit odd after a while. What a shame!! I hate when you have high hopes for a product and then lets you down!

But this did definitely not happen with the new mascara that I bought that same day. I am talking about the famous Maybelline Falsies Mascara. Until now I never really got my hands on this mascara but I can see it become a firm favourite in my collection and why everybody else is been going on about it. It has the perfect consistency (not too wet or dry) and the brush makes applying mascara a dream.

Well that's it for now. This last month I did go a bit on a spender and will have to restrain form buying anything new for a while. This often happens to me, one month I am super good and then the next everything goes out of the window, UPS!

Monthly Empties

Well this is the time again where I can show you how good I have been and what I have used up until the last drop!!

I think its easy to see that I have been really loving my skincare over the last month or so. There are two cleansers, a moisturizer, a serum and I even managed to empty my hand creme ( normally I forget to use it after about a week). And it doesn't look like I am going to stop buying skincare any time soon. Ever since I discovered the Clarins Lotus Oil I have been fascinated with what else I can do to help my skin improve.

Like I have said before I have never been really into skincare (more of a make up kind of gal) but so far I am enjoying the pampering at night and the seeing results in the morning.

Anyway lets have a look what I have been using!

First up is the Clinique Take The Day Off Balm Cleanser. This is a brilliant cleanser if you are after a more affordable cleanser. Most of the balm cleansers can be quite expensive and can also have a lot of perfume in them but not the Clinique one. It's a real gem especially for girls with sensitive skin. Yes it doesn't feel as luxurious as some others do but it really gets the job done (even removes waterproof mascara). And when it comes down to it that's all I really want from a cleanser!

Another Clinique product that I was using the last month was the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus. This claims to erase like a laser fine lines and wrinkles and also freshen up you complexion. While I don't think it has done much for my fine lines it did however help with my breakouts and complexion. If I felt like I had a spot coming on I used this at night and the next day the swelling was down and the spot was on its way out! As for repurchasing it. I would say that there are better serums out there like the Estee Lauder Night Advance Repair Serum so I would rather buy that one.

Next up is a cleanser that I have been using for years on and off. The La Roche Posay Toleriane Cleanser is one that I always like to come back to as its easy to get hold of, doesn't cost a lot and does a really good job removing my make up. Again it's for us girls with sensitive skin with no parbens or fragrance added. A perfect cleanser if you have sensitive skin and are on a budget!

When it comes to moistuizer I don't really make a big fuss. Maybe its because I still haven't found one that has made a huge difference. The Vichy Normaderm Moistuizer is a good one to use if you have oily skin as it feels super light and has salicylic acid in it. Only problem is that it doesn't have any spf in it and that's something I really look for in a moistuizer.

Do you hate the feeling of greasy hands after applying your hand cream. Yes me too but the Garnier Intensive 7 Day Hand Cream doesn't feel at all like that. That's probably why I have been sticking with applying it regular and going though it quite quickly. It keeps you hand moisturized and also makes my nails look nice and nourished. A definite repurchase!

Hair wise I have been sadly running out of the Kerastase Cristaliste Shampoo. I have to say that I really enjoyed using this shampoo. Its really good for fine haired people who want a shampoo that is not too striping on their hair and also gives a lovely shine. I will buy it in the full size as its a nice shampoo to have in my stash!

Lastly is the only make up product and its a mascara. The one I was using is the Loreal Volume Million Lash Mascara. When I bought it I was hoping that this would make my lashes look thicker and fuller but maybe I understood the volume wrong. Because it really is a good mascara if you have short lashes and you are looking for lenght. But I really had to build it up quite a bit to get the results I was after.

So that is it, now I can give myself a pat on the back and keep on shopping for new thing!!

The NO Time Make Up

We all know that feeling when you wake up in the morning and your eyes just don't want to open and the thought of getting up and facing the day makes you want to roll over and hide under the covers.

That's how so many of my days start. Its mostly down to the fact that I like to go to bed  too late, unbeknown to my children who like to wake up as soon as the first sun rays hit the earth.

And getting everybody ready in the morning can be quite challenging even on a good day. So time is at its essence and getting ready is often just a slap on some make up and go.

The most I have is 10-15min and even doe its not much to get a flawless face out of the door, I still want to look glowy and radiant (look like you put some thought behind your outfit and make up, you know what I mean!?)

First things first and I always like to start of with my concealer under the eyes. The Rimmel Wake me up concealer is great for hiding any dark circles and make you look awake. I like that it feels quite light and never turns into a creased mess.

Next up is foundation and the Laura Mercier Mineral Foundation has to be the one. Its just super easy to apply, just swirl your brush in it and buff into skin! It gives great coverage and leave your skin with a lovely glow that stays throughout the day and even starts to look better as your natural oils start to come through.

On to the eyes and here is where I probably spend most of my time at as I don't want rush out of the house with my eyeshadow all looking nice but no mascara on ( has happened before, don't ask how many times).

I start with applying a wash of colour with my Mac Eyeshadow in Wedge, which give some lovely depth and softness to the eyes and finish of with MAC Teddy Eyeliner and some Mascara!

After I finished my eyes I always like to give my brows a quick sweep with the Maybelline Browdrama Gel (for some definition and to keep unruly hairs in check) and then move on to my lips. At the moment I am into my pinky nude colours like the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Lets Get Naked or the Maybelline Color Sensatinal Lipgloss in Nude Pearl. Both feel lovely and moisturizing on the lips and are easy to apply!

Blush is next and I always like to leave it for last. I find its the safest way to not get carried away with it. If I use it straight after foundation I can often look a bit clownish with big red cheeks and lets face it that is never a good look. The one I am reaching for most days is my much loved Nars Blush in Luster. A soft peachy blush with tiny specks of glitter in it that give my skin a lovely healthy sheen!

New in: Nars Blush

A while back I told you about my search for the perfect blush brush and how I struggle not to put to much on ( link here ), as I was checking all the counters I of course came along some blush. And being the make up junkie that I am could not resist umming and ahing over the lovely NARS blushes. And guess what the purchasing of the perfect blush brush was quickly pushed to the back of my mind and instead convinced myself that I didn't have enough of those blushes yet in my collection.

So I got myself two brand new shiny NARS blushers instead. And I don't regret it. I love them!!

I think when it comes to blushes NARS are just simply the best. I love that they have a subtle sheen to them, giving your cheek a lovely glow and making you look healthy and radiant. I used to go to MAC most of the time to buy my blush but now NARS have truly taken over. Not only do they have unique colours in their range but they also last so much longer on my skin. Even coming home after a long days work, the blush stays put. And talking about lasting power, my NARS Orgasm blusher is still going strong after 3 years of using it. Because they are so pigmented you only need a little dab of blusher and you are good to go.

My two new editions are NARS Luster and Douceur blusher and they are both beautiful. Luster is a soft peach colour with few specks of glitter in it. At the moment I am quite pale and I like to use this blusher to give my face some warmth. It looks really natural and I like combine it with a bold lip.

The Douceur Blush is more on the pinker side with a soft brown undertone to it. Its a lovely nude colour that give the perfect amount of pink to my cheeks. This is the one I reach for when I don't know what blusher to wear. It always looks right, especially when I am wearing a smokey eye.

I am super happy with my two purchases and have pretty much not worn anything else on my cheeks this month, now I only need to get that blush brush that I was originally after!!

BUDGET BUY

Everybody loves a bargain, that's why I thought I would share some of my beauty finds for just a fraction of the price. Its not always that you have to go high end to find a good product. And even more so these days when you can get good quality products in the drugstore.

One of those resent finds is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. When it comes to concealer I most of the time reach for an affordable one. Yes I am very tempted to go and get that Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer that everybody is loving right now but why spend 20 odd pounds for something that you can get nearly as good in the drugstore.

I like this concealer as it feels light weight and give good coverage that will last all day without looking too cakey. And with its doe foot applicator its super easy to apply to the areas where its needed.
Because of the great coverage its not just good for undereyes but also for those pesky little spots that keep on appearing on my face. It keeps them well covert until the day is done.

If you haven't tried this one yet I really urge you to give it a try, its amazing what you can find in the drugstore these days!

Oh dear, that's way to much, I am shocked. I feel a little embarrassed. To think what else I could do with this money but then again I would probably buy more make up. Its just one of those thinks that make me happy and I love buying. Even seeing the total I spend is not going to change me, I would think. Mostly because I love my luxury products and some of them like the Nars Orgasm blush I had for more than two years.

Its just a passion of mine and I don't really spend my money on other expensive stuff. maybe I just want to justify myself and all make sense of it and I should put on the breaks of spending but  knowing me that's not going to last very long.

Oh well life is to short!

YSL YOUTH LIBERATOR SERUM FOUNDATION

Here is what YSL have been saying about their new Youth liberator Serum Foundation!

This product is a combination of the technical expertise of YSL SKINSCIENCE committee and the innovation of Yves Saint Laurent colour team. It revives the skin's youthful brightness and enhances the complexion's natural colour tone. The skin looks smoother with a healthy glow. Dull zones are neutralised creating a more uniform complexion.

So I am sure you all have heard about this new foundation that YSL has come out with last month. The YSL Youth Liberator Serum Foundation is a hybrid of foundation, it combines some key ingredients that you would normally see in a serum with your everyday foundation. If you like me and like to wear your foundation on a day to day basis and feel guilty about not giving your skin a break, this is meant to make you feel a little bit better about it! I am not quite sure if it can life up to all the anti wrinkle claims but one thing is true. It is a wonderful foundation!!

This was a love at first sight ( or first try better) kind of affair. It comes in this very stylish glass bottle with a black lid and has a pump, making it ever so easy to use and not waist any product, mess free!!

I like to use one and a half pump, applying a little bit more on the areas where I need more coverage but if you haven't got problems with your skin, one pump would be more than enough as its really easy to blend into the skin.

One of the main things that I love about this foundation is that it's a medium coverage but it does not look heavy on my skin. Its like the best of both worlds, you get a flawless complexion and at the same time look natural! It also gives a nice glow without making you look greasy, even on my oily skin.

The only thing that I would say that is a bit of a shame, is the colour choices that it comes in. I was matched on a YSL counter and the lightest shade was to light on me and the shade that I bought in the end ( B30 Beige) is just a little bit to dark for me at this moment. I can still make it work but I wish they had a shade in between.

It last on me for about 5 hours, not the longest I have seen some other foundations can do but good enough for my oily skin and nothing a bit of powder can not sort out. It would last even longer on a dry or normal skin!

Overall I am really loving this foundation and I have to say its the best one yet!! I just love the finish this foundation gives and that its so easy to apply, it has made my morning routine pure bliss and I love how luxurious it feels to apply it on my face!!

MY MUJI BOX FILL UP

Last week I told you about my newest purchased the muji box and now I want to show you how I filled it up. I still have more stuff laying about and a trip back to muji will be sooner rather than later but for now I am quite happy with the results. All my daily make up choices fitted nicely into this two drawer box.

In the top drawer I have all my finishing powders, bronzers and blushes. Like my Nars Orgasm Blush and Laguna Bronzer, two great staples in my make up collection but I am sure you all have heard of them by now. Then we have some mac blushes that need depotting and to be put in a palette, there is Mac's Welldressed and Mocha blusher, both are my most worn blushers in winter. On the top corner there is my much loved Bobbi Browns Shimmer Brick which is still going strong after all these years. Another Bobbi Brown products that made it in here is Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks, a lovely cream blusher that is perfect for lazy days when you just want to freshen up your look.

For powders I have my Mac Blotting Powder that I use most on a daily basis and two more Laura Mercier setting powders, one lose and one pressed which I often take with me on a night out!

The bottom is filled with all my daily bases! First of is my Laura Mercier Foundation primer which I mostly use when I go out and want my make up to last all night. Then we have my Loreal Eau De Teint, a lightweight medium coverage foundation that looks super natural and works well with my combination skin. For an even lighter finish I reach for Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. Mascara wise I am using the Loreal Volume Million Lashes mascara, a good choice if length is what you are after.

Next up are the brow products, there is my much loved Maybelline Brow Gel which gives you neat and tidy eyebrows in an instant and for days when I want strong eyebrows ala Cara Delevingne I reach for Lancome's Le Crayon Sourcil eyebrow pencil. Watch out Cara I am coming!

My Concealer of choice is Maybelline The Eraser Concealer, a great one for under eye circles and blemishes.

And the last product is my daily moisturizer, I use the Vichy Normaderm Moisturizer with salicylic acid. I love this one as it keeps my spots and breakouts under control!

So there you have it, my attempt to organise my make up collection. Now all that is left to do is to go back and get more!!

LOREAL NUDE MAGIQUE EAU DE TEINT FOUNDATION

Last week this foundation made into my favourites and I told you how much I liked it and that I would do a full on review.

So here we go!!

Loreal says: A featherlight foundation,feels as light and fresh as water. Instantly fuses with skin, blending seamlessly to leave a silky, second skin effect

Lets begin with the feel and coverage of this foundation as these are the main things that make this foundation great. It has a very light but slightly oily feel to it making this foundation really easy to blend, I used my fingers as I think its the best method to work this foundation into my skin. I tried using a brush but I found that I was using way to much and it didn't give the same flawless look as my fingers would. When I say its feels slightly oily I don't mean that that is a bad thing I have really oily skin myself and a grease ball look is the last think I want. It feels oily because this thing its packed with silicons that help smooth you skin and almost prime it at the same time. Once it has dried it fells super soft and silky on the skin giving a nice flawless finish.

I personally like silicons, I have a few primers with silicons in them so for me its not a big issue but I know a lot of people don't like silicons.

The thing with the silicons is that it makes this a very long lasting foundation yet doesn't feel heavy at all on the skin. It feels like almost nothing on which I really like and it also has a medium to full coverage. Which is another thing I like about the foundation.

The look you get with this foundation is a very natural one and it comes in 6 different shades. I have the lightest one (100 porcelain) and I think it's a great shade if you have very pale skin like me. I can't speak for the other shades but I do have to say that if you have very dark skin there is no shade that would match you which is very disappointing and quite surprising of Loreal.

Packaging wise they made it look like a little perfume bottle hence the name Eau De Teint. It comes in 20ml glass bottle with no pump. I think its a lovely idea with he bottle but one morning I was in a rush to get ready and I dropped it on the floor. Because its so slim its an easy think to do so let this be a warning to you as it took me ages to get it off the floor.

What else can I say about this foundation to you? Oh yes I has an SPF of 18 ( great as an winter foundation) and it did not make me break out. It has some alcohol in it which made me a bit weary but it didn't cost me to break out.

For the price I have to say £9.99 is not bad for a good foundation like this but I wish they could have done a 30ml bottle instead of just 20ml.

I do love this foundation a lot because of its silky light feel and the high coverage it gives but I have to say that I don't like the bottle it comes in, yes its great if you want to put it in your bag and carry it with you but for people like me that are quite clumsy it means that I have to be extra careful with not tipping it over maybe they should just put a pump on it and that problem would be solved for me.

EYEBROWS LIKE AUDREY

That is what I want when I think of eyebrows. I like them bushy, thick and strong, ah maybe that sounds a bit wrong, ok not bushy but you know what I mean. I love how Audrey Hepburn has her eyebrows in her iconic films, she looks so natural and fresh without wearing lot of make up. If you think about her look she didn't wear a lot of make up on her face, all she did was, make her eyebrows more defined and thick, put some black eye liner on the upper eyelid and a little lipstick on her lips, that's it. There wasn't much contouring or highlighting going on, yet she looked beautiful and radiant. So when people say eyebrows frame your face and you should look after them they are right!

Eyebrows really do frame your face, I notice it every morning when I put my make up on. I leave my eyebrows for last so when all the make up is done and only the eyebrows are left to do and I look into the mirror I look weird. Only when I have drawn them in its when I look complete and the whole make up comes together.

Here is how I like to do my mine!

First I like to fill them out with some powder eyeshadow, I like to use Mac's wedge eyeshadow and my Mac 266 angled brush and roughly draw out the shape I want them to be. Then to make them a little bit stronger and more defined I use my Lancome le crayon sourcils eyebrow pencil in the colour 020 Chatain. I love this pencil, its the perfect shade for my eyebrows and its really easy to draw with. It has a soft but not waxy mine and the best thing is that it comes with a spoolie on the other side. If you happen make a mistake just use the spoolie and brush though a few times and it all looks good again.

Lastly I go over my brows with Maybelline browdrama brow gel. I never used a brow gel before until a few weeks ago but now I really like it. It keeps my hairs all in order and helps them stay in place for the day. It has this unique brush applicator that has a little ball at the end making it super easy and quick to apply the gel. 

If you don't like drawing in your eyebrows and faffing around with them or never get the shape right you could just use this to define them a little as they come in 3 nice eyebrow colours.

AUTUMN LIP COMBO

Do you ever wear more than just one lip colour on you lips. Probably yes as a lot of women love putting a gloss over a lipstick to make their lips shinier and make them stand out more. But what about mixing two lipstick to get the right colour. I often put one lipstick over the other, mostly to tone down the first lipstick and make it more wearable for during the day( I have a love for strong, vibrant coloured lipsticks). Its also a great way to get your lipstick looking right on you. Some lipstick can be a little to cool toned on me so I often mix in a little orange to warm it up.

And as I was doing exactly that last week I discovered my perfect Autumn lip combo!! On that particular day I wanted to wear Revlon's Lipbutter in Raspberry pie as a lip stain so I just dabbed on the colour with my fingers, working it into my lips but I wasn't quite happy with the look and thought it might be a little to much for an everyday kind of look so I grabbed my new beloved nude lipstick Rimmel's Moisture Renew in Let's Get Naked and applied it quite generously on top. Out came a very nice wearable berry lip that suits my skin tone and looks really cool and I have been rocking this combo ever since.

PERFECT SHADE OF RED

Ever since I got into make up I have been on the hunt for the perfect kind of red lipstick that suits my skin tone down to the T. I love that red lips, pale skin look a la Marilyn Monroe with just a a little liner on the eyes. Its just my style. I am not into edgy and ultra modern fashion but more of a classic, simple and chic kind of girl. And with that goes a nice classic red lip, well at least in my head.

I know a lot of girls only wear red lipstick on a special occasion or on a night out but I don't mind wearing red lips during the week as an everyday make up thing. I think its just the perfect accessorie when you are wearing a leather jacket and some nice black boots.

The only thing is that it can be ever so tricky to get the right shade for your skin tone. Some have pink undertones, some have blue or orange which makes it hard getting it right especially when they all look the same in the bullet.

Then there is the problem of your lip shape as well, darker red lipsticks can make small lips look even smaller, so if you are not blessed in that department its best to go for a lipstick that has orange undertones in it. The orange helps make your lips appear fuller and more plump.

But if you are lucky and have nice full lips than that is not something you have to worry about.

So over the years in my hunt for my perfect red lips I have tried many lipsticks but few have stayed and I am still on the look out for my go to, no fuss red lipstick that suits my fair/medium skin tone. 

The closest I have come so far is Mac's Ruby Woo lipstick, this is just a lovely red lipstick with pink undertones which seems to look best on me and last super long on my lips making them look nice, even after its worn down a bit. 

The second one that I wear on a regular basis and looks good on is the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in No 4. I love how moisturizing this lipstick is as to a lot of other red lipsticks. The only thing is that it's not as long lasting because of the formula but its super easy to apply and you don't really need a lip pencil to draw out a shape.

The other YSL lip colour that I have is a more blue toned Lipstick and is from the Rouge Pur Couture line. Is a lovely lipstick for pale blondes with cool undertones in their skin. I have more warm undertones to my skin which makes the lipstick look not as nice on me as on others but I still wear it on night out when I like my lips to stand out.

The last one is the Bobby Brown's Lip Color in No 10 Red. This is a classic red shade with a lovely shine to it but I just don't seem to be reaching enough for it. I thinks it's down to the fact that it is slightly to dark for me and makes my lips look smaller than they are. I have to use a lip pencil with it and draw out my natural lip line to make my lips look fuller which makes it more of a going out lipstick as to an everyday one. And that is what I am after.

PURPLE PATCH

Last Tuesday I was in town and as always popped into my local Boots to have a little browse through the make up aisle to see what's new out there. On my list to go and get where the new Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks, after I saw their new ad on TV I really wanted it to try the new formula and see for myself. I got the colour # Let's get naked and as the name suggest its a lovely nude colour that is easy to wear as an every day kind of lipstick. For the moisture part, I don't think they live up to the claim exactly, it's not a sheer lipstick that feels like a balm on you lips but more of a traditional lipstick with a high pigmentation. I can see myself wearing this quite a lot as its so easy to apply and its a good lasting lipstick.

Another thing I picked up was the new Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation from Loreal. I have heard so much good about this foundation!! I have only used it for 2 days now but I can already see why everybody is talking about this. This foundation is bang on trend with its lightweight silky formula making applying it a breeze. I use my fingers and a little bit goes a long way, it was a real surprise to me how little I was using as I can get a little carried away sometimes with foundations. 

I also really like the packaging, a little glass bottle that looks like a perfume bottle, it only comes with 20 ml of product but if you consider how little I was using, this will last you as long as any other 50ml foundation would last you.

PRODUCT SMACKDOWN CONCEALERS

Today I want to share with you some of my thoughts on three concealers that I have used over the last months. I thought it would be a good idea comparing three products to each other and finding the best out of them. The ones I will be comparing is the Mac Select Moisturecover Concealer, Maybelline The Eraser Eye Concealer and Collection 2000 Lasting perfection Concealer. All of them have been much talk about and I want to let you know what I think performed the best out of all of them.

I hope you will like my Product Smackdown and will let me know what you think. I am planning on doing more of these.

MAC Select Moisturecover Concealer

This was one my first high end concealers that I bought. It has a very nice opaque consistency which is great for covering up under eye cycles and keeping your eye area lovely moisturised throughout the day. The doe foot applicator makes it very easy to apply the concealer where ever you need to and it blends effortlessly into the skin. The concealer is more for the under eyes that for spots as it doesn't last that long on the skin because of the moisture it gives.

The £15 price tag makes this quite a pricey products as you only get 5ml in the tube and that's why I only gave it 3 out of 5 stars. I feel like there are similar concealers out there that do the same thing and feel almost identical, too.

COLLECTION 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer

I think this must be one of the most hyped up concealers out there. And yes I have to say that I can understand why. This concealer is very similar to the Mac one as it has the same kind of opaque coverage and the same doe foot applicator to apply your concealer with. It is not as moisturising as the Mac Concealer which makes this better to apply onto blemishes but its can be a little bit tricky to blend it into the skin. You have to blend straight away because once its set it won't budge, which bring me on to the next thing. Staying Power!! This little baby will last you all day long and will not make you look cakey as some other concealer can make you look when you wear it all day.

Price wise, this is an absolute winner, it only cost £3.99 for 5ml and I don't think there is anything like it out there for the same kind of price.

This was a though choice but I only gave it 4 stars because I sometimes found it hard to blend into my skin, making it look like I was wearing make up and also I couldn't get all the product out because of the way the tube is designed. But other than that its a great concealer ( it nearly made it number one but I just liked the next one even more)

MAYBELLINE The Eraser Eye Concealer

Yes this is my winner, it might come as a surprise to you but I just love this concealer so much. For me it just ticks all the boxes.OK were to start?

First of all I love the consistency! It is a light weight concealer that is just so easy to blend into the skin. It is the best thing for my blemishes and dark spots as it hides them so nicely. Just a few swipes and they are gone. Because of its lightweight it looks like skin and also last on my oily skin throughout the day without looking blotchy. It is great for under eyes circles, hiding them effortlessly and brightening your complexion. As the name says erases them 

;-))

The Eraser cost £7.99 for 6.8 ml, so you get a little more as the other concealers and because of the twist collar design you can get all the product out of the tube.

The only thing I am in conflict with  is the sponge applicator, on hand I love how easy you can apply the concealer with the sponge but on the other hand I know that a sponge is a breeding ground for bacteria. I can only think that maybe spraying it with some alcohol every now and then will help the bacteria from growing.

If you haven't tried this concealer yet I really recommend you try it out for yourself, I am sure you will like it just as much as I do.

REVIEW LOREAL SUPER LINER PERFECT SLIM

Eyeliner is a tricky subject for me, finding the perfect liner can be a hard task. There are so many different kind of formulas and applicators out there that its hard to know where to start. I think over the years I have tried many and have found some real good ones and of course bad ones, too, that landed almost immediately in the bin. For me it either works or it doesn't, there is not a lot in between.
A while back, I think Lancome was one of the first that came out with them, they stared doing liquid eyeliners with a felt tip applicator. A bid like your old school felt tip pencils that you were drawing with in school. When I first saw them I was really intrigued and was wondering if there was finally some liquid eyeliner that I got on with.
Normally I hate liquid eyeliners as I find it so difficult drawing a straight line onto my eyes ( I can't do that thing were you close one eye and leave the other open, I wish I could) without smudging or drawing a wrong line.

So when I saw that Loreal brought out their own felt tip eyeliner I had to try it and guess what, it has become my go to liner when I want to do a cat eye with a flick at the outer corner. I just love that it is so easy to handle and you can either draw a super slim line or a thicker line like I like it. I start with the flick first by drawing a fine, thin line towards the brows. From the top of the line that you have drawn join the other site with a thin diagonal line and then all you have left to do is to fill in the liner and you are ready to go.
The Loreal liner is super precise and I love that the colour is jet black and won't budge all day.

The only thing I don't like about the liner is that it doesn't last that long before it dries out. With me it lasted for about a month, its not a long time but if you love to wear your eyeliner everyday you will get through it before its dried up.
I have heard that the more high end felt tip liners like the Eves Saint Laurent eyeliner last longer but they also come at the higher price tag. You can pick up Loreals Super Liner for £6.99 or sometimes even cheaper if you look our for any 3 for 2 offers in Boots or Superdrug.

REVIEW: LAURA MERCIER TINTED MOISTURISER SPF 20 OIL FREE

 When it comes to my foundation or base as some people would call it, I have a whole long list of things I want my foundation to do and also things I don't want it to do. I want a light weight feel yet nice medium to full coverage, I want it to be moisturising but not to the point were it breaks my sensitive skin out and I want the foundation, BB cream, tinted moisturiser or whatever it is called to be a perfect match for my skin tone.

That's a  lot to ask of one product don't you think? That's why I normally spend a bit more on my foundations in the hope that I can find that one product that can do all of those things.

Coming across lots of You Tube videos with people recommending the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser SPF 20 oil free made me wanting to try it out and see for myself.

For the product itself  it comes in two different formulars one is oil free for a more oily, breakout prone skin and the regular tinted moisturiser which is for all other skin types. Both of the moisturisers come with a SPF of 20 which gives you an all year great sun protection.
I have the oil free version and I really like it, it is a lovely foundation that has a medium coverage and lasts on my face for up to 8h without looking patchy. It gives my skin a healthy glow and doesn't look like you have got make up on. You can also build it up on those places where you need some more coverage. For me that's around my chin area where I have most of my breakouts or sometimes I mix it with some of my concealer if I want some more coverage. If you don't like glowy foundation it is easy to mattify the skin with just a little powder, this will also make it last just a little longer, perfect for long days at work.
 It is great for layering as it never looks blotchy or heavy and seems to blend in with my skin effortlessly and it has never made me breakout.
  Another thing whats great about the tinted moisturiser is the colour choices they come in. I have two shades, porcelain which is my perfect winter shade and suits even the palest of skin colours and nude for when I am a little more tanned. In total there are 15 shades to choose from and even dark skin tones would find a good match. I can not fault this foundation and I have to say that there are not a lot of foundations out there that tick all the boxes on my long list.

It is raining outside today and I feel like Autumn is nearly here and that means my favorite season is coming. I love everything Autumn well ok maybe not the rain that we have so much of here in the UK. But other than that its all good.

New season clothes are in the shops in all the pretty dark red colours, leather jackets and lovely skirts that are a little longer than the summer skirts ( they seem to get shorter and shorter).

But my favorite thing in Autumn is to experiment with new colours in my make up especially lipsticks. I love rocking a red lip with an all black look and leather jacket.
One of my favorite red lipsticks is a Revlon Lipbutter, Those Lipbutter lipsticks are just so creamy and easy to apply and I definitely have to buy more of them. As well as the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks but at £24 a pop they are a real splurge. Oh well a girl has to treat herself some times ;-)
